The Westside Natatorium is an aquatic facility on El Paso’s west side and offers visitors a first class swimming experience. Funded by a 2012 Quality of Life Bond Program, the facility is designed to suit the needs of individuals, parties, and competitive water sports teams.

Westside Natatorium Features

Features available at the natatorium include a recreation pool, general lap swim area, showers, lockers, free wi-fi, and various competitive courses and areas.

Casual swimmers can take advantage of the lap swimming hours, which occur daily during the designated times above. Lanes must be reserved with 24 hours advance notice by phone or on this website

The Westside Natatorium is also an international and NCAA championship level facility. Competitive swimmers will enjoy the designated warm up area and 25- and 50-meter courses. There is also space for water polo and a synchronized swimming area. 

Families can make a trip to the center for fun in the general swim area. The pool offers shallow sections for new swimmers and plenty of deep ends for the more experienced. There are also obstacle courses in the pool and picnic tables outside. Pool parties can be booked in advance for up to 50 people during the times listed above.

Reviews of the natatorium report that the facility is clean and well maintained. A helpful staff and plenty of lifeguards are on duty to monitor the pool activity.
